The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead blasted onto AMC and proceeded to break television records with the large audience viewings from it’s short six episodes. AMC has been kind enough to re-run the episodes again several times with long marathons of the six episodes in a row. If you missed the original airings and those marathons and want to see what all of the interest is in this show, you are now in luck since it came out on DVD & Bluray today (March 8, 2011). *The Walking Dead is about a police officer, Rick Grimes, who leads a group of survivors in a world overrun by zombies.

I’m sure you’ll pick a favorite character or several in this show from the strong cast… but make sure to keep an eye out for Norman Reedus (Daryl Dixon), Michael Rooker (Meryl Dixon) and Anthony Guajardo. Each of these actors really did a great job making their characters stand out and have stepped up to show people they care about their fans online safety by getting showcased on Officially Plugged In with a video to verify their official websites and social accounts fans know they are real.

*Special features include, The Making-of “The Walking Dead” featurette, Inside “The Walking Dead”: Episode 1-6 featurette, A Sneak Peek with Robert Kirkman featurette, Behind-The-Scenes Zombie Make-Up Tips featurette, Convention Panel With Producers, and “The Walking Dead” Trailer.
