Fans Launch Campaign to Renew “Awake” for a Second Season

Fans of NBC‘s new show starring British actor Jason Isaacs isn’t a sure-thing for review. Worried fans have begun a campaign to help gain attention to the show and bring about the renewal for another season. The show, revolving around Detective Michael Britten (Isaacs) split between two realities. In one reality (red reality), his wife. Hannah, has survived a tragic accident involving both Detective Britten and his son, Rex. In the other (green reality), Rex has survived and Hannah has died.

Michael must cope with the thought of one of these realities being a dream and at the same time continue to work and solve cases. Clues from each case begin to cross-over into each reality, giving him a unique method of solving crimes.

Awake has thus far been an extremely entertaining and creative show, in my mind. It’s certainly one of my favorites and has aired five episodes so far. (All can be found here on Hulu) After a special introduction exclusively to the internet a few weeks before, the Kyle Killen show began airing on NBC on March 1, 2012 and continues to air every Thursday at 10/9c.
