Written, directed and edited by Chandler Riggs, the live-action Resident Evil 7 horror short fan film ‘Biohazard’ centers on Ethan Winters, who, while searching for his missing wife, finds himself trapped by the Baker family – a deadly, unstoppable force driven to violence under the influence of a mysterious infection.
‘Biohazard’ stars Chandler Riggs (as Ethan Winters), Jason Douglas (as Jack Baker), Mary Rachel Quinn (as Marguerite Baker), Johnathan O’Neil (as Deputy Anderson), Eugenie Bondurant (as Eveline), Sam Coyles (as Lucas Baker), and Mia Cole (as Mia Winters), with Alicia Vernick (as voice of Zoe Baker).
Written by Chandler Riggs, ‘Biohazard’ is produced by Shane Brady and Emily Zercher, with executive producer Chandler Riggs. Production company is Spooky Feet Films, with support from Film Tampa Bay.
The film’s cinematography is by Brian M. Tang, the editing is by Chandler Riggs, with music by Alexander Taylor.

As stated on the YouTube page: BIOHAZARD began as a passion project driven by a desire to bring the isolated, intense, gripping story of Resident Evil 7 into live-action. The production team spent days transforming Arturo Fuente’s original cigar factory in Tampa Bay into a full-scale section of the Baker estate, creating a practical, immersive environment specifically for the production. The film combines practical production design, practical special effects, practical stunt work, and minimal VFX to recreate the intense, physical horror of the game, while paying homage to the films that inspired it.
The production was also incentivized by Film Tampa Bay to showcase Tampa Bay as a strong, supportive, and experienced home for film productions. Riggs teamed up with Tampa-based production company Spooky Feet Films, helmed by filmmakers Shane Brady and Emily Zercher, marking their third project together. The production was additionally supported by Greg Nicotero, who provided SFX equipment for the production.
