Written and directed by John M. Keller, the comedy drama film ‘Her Song’ centers on Olivia, a Franco-American writer, who returns to her grandmother’s village in the south of France and is enchanted by a local woman who quickly becomes the face of her new novel. As a number of coincidences ensue, Olivia asks herself whether she’s part of history’s unfolding story, or vice-versa.
‘Her Song’ stars Kalki Koechlin (as Olivia), Eléa Clair (as Madeline), Zach Grenier (as Dave), Julien Jacob (as Julien), and Marie-Christine Adam (as Suzanne).
Producers of ‘Her Song’ include Marine Assaiante, Eléa Clair, and John M. Keller, with executive producers Eric Gruendemann, James Ivory, and Bobby Liao. Production company is Six and Midnight Films.
The film’s cinematography is by Wilhelm Kuhn and Thomas Walser, the editing is by Maud Dubois-Babinot, with music by Dhruv Goel.
