Written, directed, and edited by Mark Fischbach (Markiplier), the sci-fi horror film ‘Iron Lung’ is set in a post-apocalyptic future where an event known as “The Quiet Rapture” caused all known stars and habitable planets in the universe to disappear. A convict is sent to search an ocean of blood discovered on a desolate moon, using a small submarine nicknamed the “Iron Lung”.
‘Iron Lung’ stars Markiplier (as Simon), Caroline Kaplan (as Ava), Troy Baker (as David), Elsie Lovelock (SM-8 Research Lead), Elle LaMont (SM-8 Research Assistant), Mick Lauer, and Seán McLoughlin (as Jack).
Based on the 2022 horror video game by David Szymanski, ‘Iron Lung’ is produced by Will Hyde and Jeff Guerrero. Mark Fischbach (Markiplier) executive produced.
The film’s cinematography is by Philip Roy and the music is by Andrew Hulshult.
