Aside from Django Unchained, Baz Luhrmann’s 3D adaptation of The Great Gatsby is probably my most anticipated film this Christmas season. Screw The Hobbit, this is the literary adaptation I’m dying to see. The flick’s got a great cast and has insanely positive buzz surrounding it. The trailer above shows off that cast—–lead by Leonardo DiCaprio as the titular Gatsby—-and the amazing visuals that will help bring F. Scott Fitzgerald’s essential American novel to the big screen.
I am so in.
