‘The Dog Stars’ Post-Apocalyptic Sci-Fi Film Stars Jacob Elordi, Josh Brolin, and Margaret Qualley – Trailer and Release Date

Directed by Ridley Scott, the post-apocalyptic film ‘The Dog Stars’ centers on a post-apocalyptic world devastated by a flu pandemic that has nearly wiped out humanity. It follows Hig, a young civilian pilot, and his companion Bangley, a hardened ex-Marine survivalist, as they maintain an isolated homestead. A mysterious radio transmission draws Hig into the unknown in search of hope, humanity, and answers amid threats from roaming scavengers.

Written by Mark L. Smith (screenplay also based on the novel by Peter Heller), ‘The Dog Stars’ is produced by Ridley Scott, Michael Pruss, Mark L. Smith, and Cliff Roberts, with executive producers including Aidan Elliott, Lily Brooks-Dalton, Peter Heller, Brandon Scott Smith, and Marco Valerio Pugini. Production company is Scott Free Productions.

The film’s cinematography is by Erik Messerschmidt, the music is by Harry Gregson-Williams, and the editing is by Sam Restivo and Claire Simpson.
