Written and directed by Chandler Levack, the romantic comedy film ‘Mile End Kicks’ centers on Grace Pine, a young 24-year-old woman, a music critic, who moves to Montreal, Quebec, with the goal of writing a book about Alanis Morissette’s album ‘Jagged Little Pill’ but instead becomes romantically involved with two members (Archi and Chevy) of the aspiring indie rock band Bone Patrol, and takes a job as the band’s publicist. The scene is set in 2011, and the story is based in part on Chandler Levack’s own young adulthood before becoming a professional music critic and filmmaker.

Elevation Pictures is releasing the film theatrically in Canada (with Entract Films releasing in Quebec) on the same date.
