
Directed by Michael Showalter, the psychological thriller film ‘Verity’ centers on a struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh, who is hired as a ghostwriter for renowned author Verity Crawford after an accident leaves her unable to finish her books. While living in the remote Crawford estate, Lowen uncovers Verity’s chilling autobiographical notes, leading her to wrestle with disturbing confessions about Verity’s husband Jeremy. She struggles to separate fiction from reality, manipulation from attraction, and opportunity from obsession.
