
Directed by Lee Kirk, the film ‘Nimrods’ centers on three teenagers who travel to Los Angeles under the false belief that their band is opening for Green Day on New Year’s Eve. The coming-of-age story follows their cross-country road trip in a van, filled with mayhem, mischief, and misadventures inspired by Green Day’s early touring days.
‘Nimrods’ stars Mason Thames, Kylr Coffman, Ryan Foust (as the three lead friends/band members), Mckenna Grace, Jenna Fischer, Angela Kinsey, Fred Armisen, Bobby Lee, Sean Gunn, Keen Ruffalo, Ignacio Diaz-Silverio, and Jolene Blalock (as Deborah), with Green Day members appearing as themselves.
Written by Lee Kirk, ‘Nimrods’ is produced by Billie Joe Armstrong, Tré Cool, Mike Dirnt, Stella Bulochnikov, Jolene Blalock, Anna Keegan, Tim Perell, and Robin Rapino, with executive producers Ryan D. Adams, Jonathan Daniel, Marc Danon, Ryan Kroft, Michael Rapino, Kevin Weisberg, and Leila Weisberg. Production companies are Live Nation Productions, and Process Productions.
