Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes Confirmed for “Bond 23,” Naomi Harris In Talks

After being in limbo due to MGM’s financial crisis, Daniel Craig’s third outing as 007 is finally working it’s way into production under the guidance of Sam Mendes (American Beauty, Revolutionary Road). The latest news, per /film,  is that Oscar winners Javier Bardem and Ralph Fiennes have joined the cast. Bardem (No Country For Old Men) is the film’s villain, and Fiennes (Schindler’s List) will play a “dark [and] complex” character.

Naomi Harris (28 Days Later) hasn’t signed on the dotted line just yet, but her role is one fans will find quite familiar. It seems the Blonde Bond will finally meet his Moneypenny in his next adventure.

Set for release in November of 2012, “Bond 23” remains untitled, but with production beginning soon surely that will change.
