Directed by Kasia Adamik, the film ‘Winter of the Crow’ centers on British psychiatry professor Joan Andrews, who travels to Warsaw in December 1981 as a guest lecturer and becomes trapped when martial law is imposed. After witnessing a brutal murder by the secret police and capturing it on her Polaroid camera, she is hunted through the city in a deadly cat-and-mouse game involving student rebels and government operatives.
