Directed by Aaron Sorkin, the biographical thriller film ‘The Social Reckoning’ follows Frances Haugen, a young Facebook engineer, who enlisted the help of Jeff Horwitz, a Wall Street Journal reporter, to blow the whistle on the social network’s most guarded secrets. This film is a companion piece to The Social Network (2010).
‘The Social Reckoning’ stars Mikey Madison (as Frances Haugen), Jeremy Allen White (as Jeff Horwitz), Wunmi Mosaku, Betty Gilpin, Billy Magnussen, with Bill Burr, and Jeremy Strong (as Mark Zuckerberg).
Written by Aaron Sorkin, based on articles written by Jeff Horwitz, ‘The Social Reckoning’ is produced by Todd Black, Peter Rice, Aaron Sorkin, and Stuart Besser, with executive producers Lauren Lohman, Roger McNamee, Ellen Goldsmith-Vine, Broderick Johnson, and Andrew A. Kosove. Production companies are Columbia Pictures, Alcon Entertainment, The Gotham Group, and Escape Artists.
The film’s cinematography is by Jeff Cronenweth and the music is by Alexandre Desplat.
