Directed by Rob Savage, the film ‘Other Mommy’ centers on Bela, an 8-year-old girl living in a home with marital problems, who confronts a sinister entity that comes out of her closet. The presence, who she calls “Other Mommy,” becomes increasingly threatening to her and her family.
‘Other Mommy’ stars Jessica Chastain (as Ursula), Jay Duplass (Daddo), Arabella Olivia Clark (as Bela), Dichen Lachman, Arian Moayed, and Karen Allen (as Grandma Ruth).
Written by Nathan Elston, based on the novel Incidents Around the House by Josh Malerman, ‘Other Mommy’ is produced by James Wan, with executive producers Michael Clear, Judson Scott, Rob Savage, Josh Malerman, and Ryan Lewis. Production companies are Blumhouse Atomic Monster, and Spin a Black Yarn.
The film’s cinematography is by Lowell A. Meyer, the music is by Patrick Jonsson, with editing by John Cutler and Peter Gvozdas.
