
Directed by Luca Guadagnino, the biographical dark comedy drama film ‘Artificial’ centers on the turbulent days around OpenAI CEO Sam Altman’s sudden firing and reinstatement in 2023, as rivalries, ego, and control of artificial intelligence collide inside the company behind ChatGPT.
‘Artificial’ stars Andrew Garfield (as Sam Altman), Yura Borisov (as Ilya Sutskever), Monica Barbaro (as Mira Murati), Cooper Hoffman (as Greg Brockman), Ike Barinholtz (as Elon Musk), and Mark Rylance (as Geoffrey Hinton), with Jason Schwartzman, Chris O’Dowd, Cooper Koch and Billie Lourd.
Written by Simon Rich, ‘Artificial’ is produced by Simon Rich, David Heyman, Jeffrey Clifford, Jennifer Fox, and Luca Guadagnino, with executive producers Michael Beugg, Francesca Manieri, and Marco Morabito. Production companies are Heyday Films, JF Films, and Frenesy Film Company.
