
Directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev, the political thriller drama film ‘Minotaur’ centers on Russia in 2022, when Gleb, a successful company director, finds himself under siege from mounting corporate pressures and an increasingly unstable world, the collapse of his carefully ordered life accelerates toward violence.
‘Minotaur’ stars Dmitriy Mazurov (as Gleb), Iris Lebedeva (as Galina), Boris Kudrin (as Seryozha), Yuriy Zavalnyouk (as Anton), Varvara Shmykova (as Natasha), and Vladimir Friedman (as Mayor).
Written by Andrey Zvyagintsev and Simon Lyashenko (based on the original screenplay by Claude Chabrol), ‘Minotaur’ is produced by Nathanaël Karmitz, Charles Gillibert, Marco Perego, Andrey Zvyagintsev, and Elisha Karmitz, with executive producers Michael Cerenzie, Michael Paletta, Kristina Poli, Dmitry Saltykovsky, Patrick Sutter, and others. Production companies are MK2 Productions, CG Cinéma, Forma Pro Films, Razor Film Produktion, Arte France Cinéma, and LEAF Entertainment.
The film’s cinematography is by Mikhail Krichman, the music is by Evgueni Galperine and Sacha Galperine, with editing by Andrey Zvyagintsev.
