Written and directed by Joseph Scrimshaw, the film ‘Dead Media’ is the story of a troubled young woman, her lonely Gen X uncle, a haunted DVD, and a movie night that won’t die.
‘Dead Media’ stars Sammi-Jack Martincak (as Maggie Sloke), Sam Landman (as Uncle Heppy Sloke), James Urbaniak (as Dr. Sven Rendall / Guy Leopold), Jessica Fenton (as Brenda), and Anna Sundberg (as Rita Nast). Additional cast includes Antonio Teodoro (as Daniel) and a cameo from Bill Corbett (as Jackson Billy).
Producers of ‘Dead Media’ include Vincent Rutherford and Joseph Scrimshaw, with executive producer Joe Lynch. Production companies are Strange Path Productions.

Antenna Releasing will release ‘Dead Media’ in theaters on a U.S. theatrical roadshow through October 2026, with a listed limited theatrical date of October 2, 2026.
