Bat Pig Pictures in agreement with the owners of Kearns Productions LLC has started a relationship to create, produce, and film great movies using a unique film concept called the Collaborative Film Environment or CFE.
The beginning of this great concept "The Collaborative Film Environment" for film-making, will start off with the film "Expectations"... a film shooting in Atlanta, GA starting in February 14 2008 with Director Noeland Collins. Bat Pig Pictures will then start pre-production on a comedy called "Kevin Can't Wait" that is sure to make you laugh until you cry.
Actor and owner of Kearns Productions, Robert Gordon Spencer (RGS) shares "I started my acting career in College Theater and understood acting to be individualized and not a collaborative process at all. But then I realized to become a better actor, I needed to find a way to make it so... after careful consideration and reflection on my own learning process and of 'great film making' I realized that actors are only as good as the other cast members... as well as the crew members!" RGS continues "Film companies forget that the casting process can be much easier if you change the script to fit the actor and not search for the 'perfect fit' that the writer/director had in his/her head, respectfully... humans have basic personalities that can be built on... the question is whither it is... believable or not" RGS continues "Actors, good actors, if given the time... know how to find and build onto the basics and even if it doesn't match the writers/producers 'dream' they still should be open-minded enough to allow that process to filter out... the actor, the crew, and even the suggestions from the investors are vital in this process whither or not their suggestions are used in the final cut... this process is part of the Collaborative Film Environment"
Mr. Spencer decided to transform the film-making industry by incorporating the ideas and philosophies of not only the actors, but the crew, and investors. "Their ideas and suggestions are important, and to ignore them just doesn't sit well with me" says self- made entrepreneur Robert Gordon Spencer.
The misunderstanding of the direction of the Collaborative Film Environment has been avoided with many good reasons however; the concept of gaining special insight and growth was lost until now. "I don’t take every suggestion to heart and use them, but I do take them to heart by listening to them... and use them when the majority of the decision makers agree it is the best solution… even if I don't always agree!" RGS continues... "the investors especially appreciate this since the larger film companies don't give them a second look when the check clears...trust me, I know"
Cast member and producer Frederic Doss, Transformers 2007, when referring to the film Expectations says "This is going to be a great film and the start of something VERY big."
