“Transformers: Dark of the Moon” remains in box office lead

Transformers: Dark of the Moon has thus far taken in $645 million on a $195 million budget. Though in its second week of release, it managed to take in another whopping $93 million to equal its current total. The film holds the record for highest grossing opening of 2011 and is on its way to be a massive money-maker and possibly have a chance at the #1 spot against reigning champion Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
