Star Wreck is a feature-length, sci-fi parody, seven years in the making. A group of five Finnish fans and over 300 extras, assistants, and supporters joined forces to create this laugh out loud comedy. The first-ever Finnish science fiction adventure, Star Wreck combines creative passion with world-class visual effects to unite Star Trek fans and foes alike.

This is not your typical parody aimed solely at Star Trek fans. Instead, it is a movie for everyone with a taste for action, comedy, and zany characters. It tells the story of Captain James B. Pirk of the Starship C.P.P. Kickstart and his crew, Commander Dwarf and Commander Info, who all find themselves stranded on 21st Century Earth, adventuring to save the planet from hostile aliens. As the prospects for humanity's conquest of space look increasingly bleaker, Pirk comes up with a questionable plan to save mankind's future. The story that unfolds amidst space battles is a stark reminder of the danger that results from the mixture of ambition, cowardice and stupidity.

An ingenious band of five students and various contributors from Tampere acquired a bit of blue linoleum and a few home computers to create this terrific sci-fi comedy that will have both fans and non-fans enthralled throughout. Star Wreck’s spectacular visual effects have inspired the team behind the film to begin work on their next big-budget production, Iron Sky, which is due to shoot in Germany later this year.

Revolver Entertainment is proud to present the Star Wreck Imperial Edition DVD, with tons of new and unseen extras including audio commentary, interviews, and deleted, alternative, and extended scenes.
