Here’s A Trailer For The Alien Prequel “Prometheus”

If there’s been a “trilogy” this week it’s been the release of trailers for The Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit, and Prometheus, all highly anticipated films with intense genre ties. Luckily for the studios all three trailers have been met with rapturous praise. Prometheus, the film that started as a prequel to Alien and then became something more may take the cake for me, since it keeps its hand close to its chest while offering some mouth-watering glimpses for Alien fans.

Ridley Scott returns to the Alien universe to direct a script from Lost show-runner Damon Lindelof. There’s a few shots of face huggers and the space jockey ship to keep fans guessing and plenty of new stuff to keep us on our toes.

Prometheus hits theaters on June 8th, 2012
