For those who loves foreign films as much as I do, here is a look at a foreign film called Norwegian Wood. It’s based on a book under the same name by Haruki Murakami.   This film is about loss and sexuality in Tokyo during the late 1960′s.   A guy looks back on his youth when he was a freshman University student. When his best friend committed suicide, he then develops two different relationships with two very different girls. He finds himself torn between the two women and has to pick which one he wants to be with.   The film is directed by Tran Anh Hung and stars Kenichi Matsuyama, Rinko Kikuchi, Kiko Mizuhara, Kengo Kora, and Reika Kirshma.  The information that I got was this movie was released on Jan. 6, 2012, but the trailer says March 11.  So, check theater listings for showings in your area.
