Casting Call : Furor - Rage of the Innocent
By Wendy Shepherd at Movie Vine .com Jun 11, 2007, 17:37 I am co-producing an Independent film called "Furor - Rage of the Innocent", with a number of the scenes being shot in BRISTOL, SOUTH WEST OF ENGLAND. Vic Marke is the Director/ Producer. The link below is the myspace film page. http://www.myspace.com/furorfilm Zara Phythian plays a character that society takes no notice; a nobody lets say who blends into the surroundings, an avid churchgoer with a love of God. Just think Adrienne from Rocky Balboa, the first film. The story tells of a simple woman's innocence, callously taken in an uncompromising event; with consequential retribution on the wrong. It is a dark martial arts film with a flavour that you see attached to Kidulthood (alongside the wave of other UK grime films). The martial arts content will be brutal and unforgiving. We are casting for extras/ background artists. I stress it is NOT paid. However, if your participation involves more than just a straightforward walking/ background part, then Master Marke, will hold further discussions with you. The decision rests with him. You will be credited in the film, opening doors for any future projects that come forward. A little bit about Zara. She is 13 times World Martial Arts Champion and Actor, and is making a name for herself on the Action Film Circuit. She is also UK Representative for the stunt team that gave us the film Sin City (Bruce Willis, Mickey Rourke and Jessica Alba).
